PRE-RACE REPORT

30 Laps Rolling Start
Ellis Ford #3 arrived late and drove onto the grid in a brand new car which, at the time, was the most expensive ever.
Having a raced tuned Galaxy Engine, and fitted with racing type tyres, Ellis was not allowed to race it!!

Reigning Champion George Ansell #375, suffered a blown engine when loading the car onto the coach.
Undeterred George changed the engine to an old Pontiac, and made the meeting - Just!
