Johnny Brise (103) dominated this event, due to bringing a brand new untried car to the meeting that was primed to perfection.
He finished almost half a lap ahead of a hard charging Fred Mitchell (38) with Doug Wardropper (5) further behind.
Brise crossed the line to become the first driver to win the title twice.
