Unlike last year, Johnny Brise (103) had to work for his win, as this time Fred Mitchell (38) chased him closely all the way, but to no avail.
Brise took the title for the third time and the first driver to win it three times - 1956, 1959 & 1960.
Brise set the fastest race time for a 30 lap race : 10 minutes 33 Seconds
