Grading Points Summary


Winner of the National Points up to 1981 wore two silver strips on his roof/aerofoil.
After then, up to 2001, the winner was entitled to wear a Silver roof for the following season.
NATIONAL POINTS CHAMPIONSHIP: 1956 - 2005
Originally known as the "Jimmy Edwards Memorial Trophy" but was awarded to the driver who scored the most points over the whole season.
After 2001, this championship wasn't recognised for gaining the Silver roof.

Only recognised as the driver scoring the most points throughout the season.
