DRIVER INTERVIEW

How did you find Brisca F1 Stock Cars?
My Dad and uncle used to race and got me into it. They have since passed away but my dad who was also a George Turney from Plaistow raced no 408 from 1956-1958 and my uncle Bernie Turney also from plaistow raced no 31 from 1956-1958 and no 92 from 1960-1961.

What gave you the incentive to race
Seeing my dad and uncle racing was really exciting and seeing all the different types of cars made me want to try it.

First Car - Built, Bought or Borrowed
My first car was bought off of a driver called Brian Maynard who use to race 226.

Memory of your first race.
My first memory of racing was that i remember being really nervous as i was about to race all the cars around me with there engines roaring.... we set off adrenaline was pumping i remember thinking it looked easier than it actually was..!

Best Racing Memory
My best memory was getting a podium finish.

Worst Racing Memory
My worst memory was when i got shoved into the fence my head hit the side roof and i got a few bumps and bruises to say the least.

Reason for Retiring
I stopped driving due to ill health

After Retiring - What Then?
i just read and follow up now on the internet especially your site as it has so much information and i think youve done a really good job with it.
