How did you find Brisca F1 Stock Cars?
I was pretty much born into it. From as young as I remember I was taken to Odsal to watch. I remember vaguely my first world final at the Old Belle Vue in 1986 I think it was?
What gave you the incentive to race
It has been a life long dream and ambition of mine. From playing with cars as a kid, to going karting, to having a brief go in an F2, then a 1300 saloon, then more recently racing Stoxkarts, an F1 was always the dream.
First Car - Built, Bought or Borrowed
The car I raced was Mark Adkins #24 shale car. It was only borrowed unfortunately......
Memory of your first race.
Literally lining up behind the Superstars laughing to myself under the helmet, so excited and felt amazing being on the track with so many of my heroes.!
Best Racing Memory
Up to my F1 debut winning the British Championship last season in the stoxkarts, but got to say, despite going from the back, lining up in the F1 when FWJ went passed to take his grid spot and gave me the thumbs up twice..... What a feeling. Big thanks especially to Mark Adkins and everyone for their support.
Worst Racing Memory
Breaking my leg a few years ago in the 1300 at Skeggy was not great, and just missing out on the podium twice in the Stoxkarts WF was a rubbish feeling, but whilst I am privileged enough to be in a stock car, how can I complain about anything?!?
