A succession of Promotors from 1954 to 1973, kept the wheels turning, but in 1974 Keith Barber took on the project and saw it through to the end in 1997.
Long Eaton staged the British Championship on numerous occassions, along with multiple Semi-Finals.
Ten years on and the track is still visable, but never say never as to F1's once again rumbling around this arena!
Unfortunately in 2009 a new housing estate was built which put an end to Long Eaton Stadium's history.
