Belle Vue (Hyde Road)

TRACK PROFILE

Granite Surface - 418 Yards
Johnny Hoskins brought Stock Cars to Hyde Road, and oversaw the first ever final won by Tanya Crouch #38.
The drivers loved the place, the spectators travelled far and wide to attend, and when Stuart Bamforth bought the stadium in 1982, the place was packed with both.
Belle Vue held multiple World Finals, until it finally went under the auctioneer's hammer in 1988 due to the stadium being made of mainly wood and the previous Bradford Fire in 1985.
Regarded by most as the "Mecca" of F1 Stock Cars.
