TRACK PROFILE

Opened with the Grand National Championship after Hartlepool closed. Warren Taylor made this happen, but soon sold to Stuart & Harry Smith.
Harry soon left to be replaced by Stuart Bamforth until it closed in 1992 to make way for another Supermarket.
Held the British Championship in 1989.
