Flag dropped and pole man Joff Gibson #249 was hindered by the pace car who was slower getting off the track.
This forced Joff to veer to the right clipping Dan Johnson #4 and both tangled getting stuck on the fence down the home straight.
Dan got free but was well down and Joff seemed to go from first to last in the space of one lap!
Race settled down and the only man on the move was Dan Johnson who managed to finish 3rd with the help of two yellow flag situations.
Lee Fairhurst #217 hit the front on lap 1 and drove a very controlled race and was a deserved winner on the day.
